CASE STUDY

When an event website has to work all year round, across every phase of the show

About

eRobocze SHOW is a construction machinery event that goes beyond a traditional trade fair. It combines live machine tests, business relationships, purchasing decisions, and direct contact between exhibitors, participants, and organizers. The event also works in two different formats: a central edition with the largest scale and full machinery range, and regional editions that bring exhibitors and machines closer to local communities across Poland. We designed the event website to support both formats and work across the full event lifecycle.

Why this mattered

An event website has to work before, during, and after the show. For eRobocze SHOW, the website needed to do more than show information. It had to help people plan their visit, understand the value of the event, discover exhibitors and machines, follow updates, and stay connected after the show ended.

  • Support different needs of participants, exhibitors, and organizers
  • Communicate the scale, energy, and hands-on nature of the event
  • Connect the event website with the news portal and social channels
  • Make both central and regional editions easy to understand and manage
Why this mattered

The design challenge

The challenge was to design for an event that keeps changing over time. The website needed to stay useful across different phases: announcing a new edition, preparing for the event, supporting visitors during the show, and keeping momentum after it ended. Each phase required different content, priorities, and calls to action, all within one consistent site.

  • Connecting the central edition with regional editions
  • Supporting visitor planning alongside exhibitor visibility
  • Combining static event information with dynamic updates
  • Carrying a strong event atmosphere into clear, practical navigation

Design decisions

We designed the website around the event lifecycle. The site works as a flexible event platform: each phase has its own content priorities, including dates and location when a new edition is announced, maps and schedules during preparation, quick access to key information during the show, and reports, multimedia, and thanks after the event.

  • Event phases mapped into clear website states
  • Maps, schedules, and machine test sign-ups for visitor planning
  • Exhibitor and machine visibility built into the content structure
  • Editorial checklist showing what to update at each stage

What it enabled

The website works as a tool for the whole event cycle. The structure carries eRobocze SHOW’s value across audiences and keeps the website useful beyond a single date. It gives the editorial team a practical framework for updating the page before, during, and after each edition.

  • Participants get the right information at the right moment
  • Exhibitors are shown through machines, demos, and real event value
  • The website connects with the portal, YouTube, and social media
  • Organizers have a repeatable structure for future editions
