How a language school turned its method into a personalized learning tool

Szybki Angielski is a language learning program by Colin Rose Institute, built around a method that adapts to different cognitive styles and ways of learning. We redesigned its web and mobile app to bring the digital part of the course up to date, making it easier for students to practise after each lesson and follow the method throughout the week.

Why this mattered

The course needed a stronger life between lessons. The product had to support an existing teacher-led course, extend the school’s method beyond live classes, and help students stay connected to the material during the week.

The design challenge

The app had to follow the course as an extension of it. The challenge was to turn a structured learning method into a digital experience students could use on their own. The app needed to guide weekly practice, personalize the type of exercises, and stay light enough for regular use after class.

The design challenge

Design decisions

We designed the app around continuity, practice, and personal learning styles. The app extends the course: each lesson unlocks the next set of weekly materials, including exercises, listening stories, short grammar explainers, quick repetitions, and practice formats adapted to the student’s dominant cognitive style.
