CASE STUDY

How a made-to-measure brand built a premium e‑commerce experience from the ground up

About

Casual Fitters is a British premium menswear brand moving beyond made-to-measure into a broader offer that includes bespoke and ready-to-wear. The goal was to create a new e‑commerce experience from the ground up, supporting the brand’s growth in the UK and its expansion into the US market. We designed a premium online store that could present a wider offer clearly, build trust around fit and quality, and make the buying experience feel as refined as the product itself.

Why this mattered

A broader premium offer needs a tailored digital experience built around it. Casual Fitters was entering a new stage of growth. The brand needed a digital experience that could support different product lines, communicate premium value, and make a more complex offer easier to understand and buy online.

  • Present made-to-measure, bespoke, and ready-to-wear as one coherent offer
  • Support growth across the UK and US markets
  • Build trust around fit, quality, and the buying process
  • Make the online experience feel premium and stay easy to use
Why this mattered

The design challenge

The challenge was to broaden the offer while protecting the brand’s identity. The site had to make premium tailoring easier to buy online, while preserving the sense of care, quality, and confidence that customers expect from a made-to-measure brand. It also had to balance storytelling, product discovery, and conversion across different types of clothing and buying intent.

  • Combining premium storytelling with clear product navigation
  • Holding a broader offer within one coherent brand experience
  • Bringing the confidence of tailored service into online convenience
  • Carrying British brand character into the US market expansion

Design decisions

We designed the store around clarity, trust, and premium product discovery. The structure works as a guided premium shopping experience: customers understand the differences between product lines, explore the brand’s value, and move through the buying journey with more confidence.

  • Clear separation and connection between made-to-measure, bespoke, and ready-to-wear
  • Product pages designed to explain fit, quality, materials, and process
  • Premium visual hierarchy balanced with practical shopping decisions
  • Conversion paths shaped around different levels of purchase confidence

What it enabled

The website gives the brand a stronger digital foundation for growth. The e‑commerce experience carries Casual Fitters from a narrower made-to-measure positioning into a broader premium menswear offer. It creates a clearer way to sell online, support international growth, and communicate the brand’s value while keeping its premium edge.

  • A full premium e‑commerce experience built from the ground up
  • A clearer structure for a broader and more scalable offer
  • More confidence for customers buying premium menswear online
  • A stronger digital presence for UK continuity and US expansion
